In this motivational memoir, retired quarterback Cunningham (I'm Still Scrambling) describes defeating adversity through faith using an extended and encouraging football analogy. In 2010, Randall and his wife, Felicity, struggled with grief when, at age two-and-a-half, their youngest son Christian drowned. Even in the midst of their grief, Cunningham writes, they continued to praise God. His fervor is not just reserved for persevering in the face of tragedyâhe also writes about tithing generously and watching God return the blessing via a significant signing bonus check the next day. The pastor of his own church in Nevada, Cunningham points to how his financial generosity has also led to the manifestation of his wealth. The book is uplifting and clear.
